Give Hope Where Hope is Dim 

“The same crisis, the same people, the same world looking away.” 

This is how the Norwegian Refugee Council describes its latest report. According to the NRC, among the 10 most neglected displacement crises (analyzed in 2025) are: 

Sudan (No. 1), DR Congo, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Mozambique 

All countries, as you know, which are rife with persecution, violence, and oppression. 

Bottom line: Where there is neglect, evil pervades. Where there is darkness, hope dims. Where Islamists rule, collapse follows. 

Christ calls us — you and me — to step forward in compassion and do something about it.
