Shine Light Into the Darkness and Despair

Surveilled. Investigated. Arrested. Detained. Interrogated.

One pastor knows all too personally the dangers that come with following, and preaching, Jesus Christ.

But your prayers encourage him. Your generosity sustains him. Your heart for persecuted brothers and sisters renews his hope and provides “the warmth of fellowship,” he says.

His message to you: “Thank you — your prayers and support are like an angel’s embrace — a beam of light in the darkness … a charcoal fire in the cold.”

Beautiful truth. Strong faith. And you’re part of it.

God’s Spirit — the Comforter — cannot be contained. You are shining hope into the darkness with your giving and prayers, and, as Matt. 4:16 says:

“The people who live in darkness have seen a great light, and for those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.”

So please give generously today.

Reach out in Jesus’ name to the hurting. Thank you!

In His service,

Mat Staver
