Be the Answer to Their Prayers

You and I know: Violence is NEVER the answer.

But far too often, and far too tragically, it’s the one response families and neighbors resort to when they discover a Muslim’s conversion to Christianity.

“A 52-year-old Christian in eastern Uganda [is] recovering from injuries after his Muslim sons attacked him for leaving Islam,” reports Morning Star News.

One of the sons “questioned his father ... about abandoning Islam, calling him a kafir (infidel), and told him that he did not deserve to live because of his decision to leave Islam.”

This son struck his father with a stick — and then the man’s “four other sons joined in beating him.”

It’s unthinkable what believers around the world must endure — often from their own family members — because of their decision to follow Jesus.

But it is for believers like this victim, and so many others, that Liberty Relief International is dedicated to providing hope and humanitarian aid to the suffering.
