God’s Word is clear:

"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33)

There is a lot of trouble in this world. Jesus Himself suffered and knew what He was talking about.

The Bible also says:

"Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted" (2 Timothy 3:12).

Look around. Watch the news. Scroll your social media feed.

Violence — hatred — murder — division — persecution.

Today, please pray that God will comfort the mourning.

That He will uplift the oppressed.
That He will shelter the brokenhearted.
That He will surround our brothers and sisters here in America and around the world with supernatural peace.

And, should you feel so inclined, please also give — as you pray ...

Be the healing hands of Jesus in hostile places.
