"Even Though It Costs, It's Worth It"

Put Your Compassion Into Action

Faith in the face of harassment and harm looks like this:

A widow living in Niger tells Open Doors: “I will not say that God has rejected me, God forbid. But I can say that I am paying the price of following Jesus.”

A believer living under the weight of communism says: “We are walking in step with God’s will. And even though it costs, it’s worth it.”

Brother Kai* explains: “Sharing the gospel is our calling. Some of us have written farewell letters and prepared for prison. We’ve chosen to follow Christ through any storm while shepherding wisely, caring for the weak, protecting them and strengthening their faith.”

These brothers and sisters trust in God’s provision despite the danger. They keep their eyes fixed on His promises, and the good that is to come, regardless of the opposition and violence they face.

These believers are living out Galatians 6:9:

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

Please support the persecuted with your generous donation to LRI today.

Your encouragement — your compassion in action on their behalf — means everything to brothers and sisters in the Lord willing to give their all!

In His service,

Mat Staver
