Your Prayers and Giving Are Their Lifeline

A young man named Marcus is one of many Christ-followers martyred for their faith in Pakistan in recent months.
Gatestone Institute reports:
“A 21-year-old Christian farmworker in Pakistan’s Punjab Province, Marcus Masih, was tortured to death by his Muslim employers, who then tried to stage the murder scene as a suicide by hanging, the victim’s brother said.”
What a tragedy! And yet this kind of violence happens so often there.
A report from the group Voice of Pakistan Minority says:
“The year 2025 was marked by a deepening crisis for religious minorities in Pakistan, characterized by entrenched legal discrimination, rising mob violence, and a climate of near-total impunity for perpetrators.”
Bottom line: Pakistan can be deadly for Christ-followers. It’s no wonder the country ranks No. 8 on the Open Doors World Watch List.
Will you join us to share tangible, compassionate hope with our brothers and sisters suffering oppression, persecution, and abuse?
Your gift today will provide help like emergency food, water, medical care, and safety for people fleeing unrest and bloodshed ... trauma counseling, literacy instruction, and job training for people starting over, perhaps in an unfamiliar country ... assistance in rebuilding churches and homes destroyed by bombings, arson, and more ... and spiritual support like Bibles, Bible study materials, and discipleship training for new believers.
Thank you for standing with LRI today. Believers in volatile regions need hope and help ... a lifeline of compassionate generosity.
And YOUR prayers and giving are that lifeline.
In His service,
Mat Staver
