Comfort the Mourning Families

Coordinated attacks struck two churches in a largely Christian community in northwest Nigeria during Easter Sunday gatherings, news sources say.
Armed militants stormed both a Catholic and an evangelical congregation, killing a dozen worshippers and abducting many others.
After emergency calls reached authorities, security forces pursued the attackers and were able to force them to flee, resulting in the release of more than 30 captives.
In a separate early-morning assault that same day in central Nigeria, suspected militants targeted another Christian village. Seventeen believers were killed, homes were destroyed, and numerous residents were taken. The violence has left the community shattered, with many unaccounted for in the aftermath.
As attacks happen weekly — sometimes daily — targeted communities receive little to no recognition or help from the Nigerian government.
It is for every persecuted Christian’s sake — for the mourning families, for the heartbroken neighbors, for the hurting congregations — that Liberty Relief International provides aid for the suffering.
