Jorina and her husband are leading a house church in a very hostile community, but the Lord is using them in ways they never could have imagined.

“After our conversion [from Islam], in the eyes of the Muslims,” Jorina says, “we were seen as terrible people. They hated us and treated us differently.” Neighbors were even plotting to kill Jorina’s husband.

But God’s love broke down barriers, softened the hearts of the people around them ...

And through your generosity and prayers, they’re not only sharing the hope of Jesus and discipling their neighbors in the faith, but establishing a church for the future!

“In our church, there are 20 to 25 families, and there are children in those families,” Jorina says. “We will not live forever, but I want this place to be a strong foundation for Jesus Christ. I want the children of this church to grow up and work for our church so the Good News of Jesus Christ will spread out from here, and everyone will know.”
