Murdered In The Deep Of Night In DRC

Your Compassion Relieves Their Suffering

“In the early hours of Sunday, Jan. 25,” reports International Christian Concern, “fighters of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) killed 25 villagers in a brutal attack on Apakolu, a farming community in Irumu, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

“The rebels struck while residents were asleep, and in the pre-dawn darkness, sowed panic, grief, and devastation across the Christian farming community. ‘They moved from door to door, executing civilians without mercy and burning houses,’ one farmer said.”

I pray for the families now in the depths of mourning after this senseless, unspeakable attack.

Please pray for them too — even now.

And will you also take one additional action for their sake today?

Give compassionately ... knowing your generosity will offer some fragment of hope amid pain, grief, and loss.

It’s unthinkable what our brothers and sisters in DRC and around the world must endure at the hands of radicals and terrorists because of what they believe.

But it is for Christians like these that LRI is dedicated to bringing hope and humanitarian aid to the persecuted.

Please encourage this community today in spirit, minister to their needs, and let them know they’re not alone — that their pain is a pain we all share as the body of Christ. Thank you.

In His service,

Mat Staver
