A Christian man named Zaman in Bangladesh is frustrated, angry, and feeling defeated.

He has been on his own without his family for over six months — he struggles as a “single” father, caring for his daughter. He misses his son and his wife very much. His in-laws forced his wife to leave Zaman when they found out he converted from Islam to Christianity.

Though he lives in deep despair over this split in his beloved family, Zaman stands firm, saying:

“I will never renounce my faith in Jesus Christ. If my wife wants a separation, I will not stop her, but I cannot degrade my faith and in [the] Lord.”
