It baffles me that so little attention has been paid to the horrors that Christians in Nigeria face.

It also makes me especially grateful for you and your support of Liberty Relief International.

A few excerpts from a podcast interview with Reverend Yunusa Nmadu, as reported by Mission Network News, dive into some of the tragic truths that the media at large refuses to acknowledge. The reverend explains:

• “We can safely say that Christians are being killed in mass with the intention to coerce, to make Christians change their religious conduct.”

• “The evil is just unimaginable, and for a government to come out and deny that there is [any] such thing happening in the country shows their level of responsiveness in protecting lives and property.”

• “People are emboldened to commit more atrocities because when one is committed, nothing is done [by the government].”

My heart is heavy with such news. So today I humbly ask you:

• Will you stand with vulnerable Christians targeted for their faith?

• Will you give generously to minister to brothers and sisters who face unimaginable harm on any given day?

• Will you pray for the safety of Christian communities and families in dangerous places — both within Nigeria and without — that God will intervene?

Put simply, please be there for the persecuted. God bless you ... and thank you for your generous and compassionate response.
