Let God Move Your Heart from Compassion to Action Today

A Catholic priest has “a message for Catholics and Christians around the world who stand in solidarity with persecuted Nigerian Christians,” reports The Catholic Register.
“I would encourage Christians to pray for us and to speak out for us because we have no voice. The government is suffocating us and suppressing us — they don’t want us to be heard,” Fr. Oliver Ortese says.
“Many towns and villages across the nation have become communities of fear, flight and funerals,” adds a local Archbishop.
While I thank God for the generosity and prayers of friends like you — and I count YOU among the blessings LRI has during this Thanksgiving week — the tragic news pouring out of Nigeria is a reminder that support for our persecuted brothers and sisters must continue.
As you count your blessings this week, will you please consider the plight of oppressed believers in Nigeria and elsewhere?
Will you let your generous donation to LRI be a lifeline to the hurting?
Will you let God move your heart from compassion to action for people being suffocated and suppressed by their own government — attacked by their own countrymen?
Thank you in advance. Your prayers and support mean everything to those who don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
