Let These Words from a Persecuted Believer Uplift You

Support the Stranger, Orphan, and Widow

Let this persecuted brother’s words uplift you today:

"Pray that we will continue to follow God’s Word and not lose hope, that our hearts will be strong and that the church will grow. May we not falter in the way of the Lord because it is necessary that we go through this persecution to reach the Kingdom of God.”

While persecution is a terrible reminder of the fallen world in which we live, Jesus DID say it would happen. He explained in John 15:20: “If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.”

And Christ has called you and me to reach out with compassion to those bearing the burden of persecution — to support the stranger, the orphan, the widow — to be a caring, tangible expression of His love in this world.
  • Your generosity today will shine light in the darkness for believers in nations where keeping their faith a secret is a necessity — and often the difference between life and death.

  • You’ll give food, water, and shelter to those who have nothing left after natural disasters or civil war have destroyed homes and livelihoods.

  • You’ll give comfort and encouragement to those who are being driven from their homes and towns — many of whom end up homeless and in great need.

Please make a generous donation now to Liberty Relief International. You’ll enable our caring partners on the ground to respond with humanitarian aid and spiritual support where it’s most needed.

Thank you for seeing the suffering and being willing to act on their behalf. This is Christ’s way, and He knows His followers.

In His service,

Mat Staver
