Protect and Uplift Persecuted Christians

A local pastor in Nigeria was kidnapped by armed men while serving his rural congregation, reports International Christian Concern.

When the terrorist group demanded a ransom for his life, his family, church, and neighbors sacrificed everything they could to secure his freedom — selling possessions and pooling what little they had.

But after the ransom was paid, the pastor was still killed.

What a heartbreaking reminder of the growing danger faced by believers in places where faith costs everything!

Yet even in grief, Christians continue to stand firm — clinging to Jesus, caring for the widows and children left in the wake of tragedy, and shining the light of Christ in the most spiritually dark places.
