Share Hope with the Hurting

 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

These are the words I cling to today.

There is a lot of trouble in this world. Jesus knew what He was talking about.

Look around. Watch the news. Scroll your social media feed of choice.

Violence — hatred — murder — division — persecution.

Today, please pray that God will comfort the mourning.
That He’ll uplift the oppressed.
That He’ll shelter the brokenhearted.
That He will surround our brothers and sisters here in America and around the world with supernatural peace.

And, should you feel so inclined, please also give — after you’ve prayed — to support LRI’s on-the-ground mission partners serving as the healing hands of Jesus in hostile places.
