Comfort Mourning Brothers and Sisters 

I’ve just looked at the news out of Afghanistan — at the number of lives lost after an earthquake devastated several communities this past Sunday.

The death toll has risen by 600 since I first emailed you. More than 2,205 people have now been confirmed killed in this tragic natural disaster.

My heart aches for the families in mourning ... and over the sheer size of this tragedy in an already oppressed nation.
