Bless the Brokenhearted

It’s hard to fathom the sheer number of Christians who suffer for their faith on a global scale.

According to Open Doors, some 380 million Christians faced high levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith in 2024 — an increase of 15 million from the previous year.

This means one in every seven Christians worldwide endures persecution (up from one in eight just a few years ago).

A documented 4,476 believers last year were murdered for their faith ... tens of thousands have been displaced from their homes and communities due to violence or unrest ... thousands each year are arrested and imprisoned without cause.

But behind every statistic is:

  • A mother protecting her children.
  • A father who faces threats to his livelihood — and therefore the safety and well-being of his wife and children.
  • A teenager whose home and community have been ravaged by violence.
  • A faithful congregation whose church has been reduced to ashes.
  • A beautiful family torn apart by abduction, false imprisonment, or bloodshed.

These aren’t distant news stories — they’re real people who need champions like you standing with them today.

Please take action to help them in Jesus’ name.

Give generously. Pray fervently. Hold the persecuted in your heart.

God bless you.

In His service,

Mat Staver
