Comfort and Care for Persecuted Men, Women, and Children

They’re just kids.

Thirty-six young Christian students — from elementary age through high school, reports Christianity Today — gathered in a quiet home in Indonesia for a weekend Christian youth retreat. They were singing songs, listening to Bible lessons, and playing games. It was a time of worship and peace.

Then the shouting started.

A mob of 200 Muslims stormed the house.

• They smashed windows with a cross.

• They threw the group’s motorbike into a river.
