Believers in dangerous places like Nigeria are too often targets on Christian holy days.
I just read about an attack that happened on Easter — the Gatestone Institute recently reported:
"A Muslim man rammed his truck into an Easter procession, killing six Christians and hospitalizing more than 30. Although Muslim officials tried to spin the terror attack as an accident, according to eyewitnesses: '"As soon as the Muslim driver saw the crowd of Christians ahead of him, he increased his speed and ran into the group from behind them without ever honking his horn. He mowed [over] several Christians... Some of [them now] permanently maimed.'"
I urge you to lift up the survivors of this heinous attack in your prayers …
And once your prayer is finished, I encourage you to also stand with Liberty Relief International by giving generously to minister to persecuted Christians in Nigeria and beyond who face violence continually for following Jesus.
And you’ll also enable LRI’s local partners — who minister to families and communities ravaged by violence — to offer trauma counseling and emotional support.
Nigeria is one of the most hostile places on earth for fellow believers … and attacks against Christians have tragically become commonplace.
So as you give, as you pray, please know how grateful I am that you stand with them — and stand for them. God bless you.
In His service,
Mat Staver
