A Martyr's Last Words

Care for Their Needs

“If you survive, tell my family that I died well and am living with Christ. And if we all die, we know that we died for the Lord.”

These were the last words spoken by Pastor Ojih of Nigeria — to fellow captive believers — as he knelt “in front of his executioner and was given one last chance” to “live as a Muslim or die as a Christian,” says International Christian Concern.

Pastor Ojih’s resolve to die a martyr for the cause of Christ is something worthy of sharing ... and responding to.

So I urge you today to:

  1. Pray for our brothers and sisters overseas who pay a high price — or the ultimate price — for following Jesus.

  2. Give generously today to keep Liberty Relief International ministering hope, strength, and encouragement to them and their families.

It would mean so much to believers in hostile countries if you’d open your heart and your hand to the persecuted today.

People all over the globe are suffering at the hands of those violently opposed to Jesus. Your compassionate generosity gives them help for today and hope for tomorrow.

Thank you for hearing their cries and caring for their needs. God bless you.

In His service,

Mat Staver
