"A Rare Case Where Justice Has Been Served"

Share the Practical, Tangible Love of Christ with Others

I just read some good news and wanted to share it:

“In a significant legal victory against forced conversions/marriages in Pakistan, a civil court has annulled the marriage of a Christian woman who was given to a Muslim man as a child and coerced to convert to Islam and marry him,” reports Morning Star News.

The civil judge “ruled in favor of 25-year-old Shahida Bibi, declaring her marriage to Shehzad Akhtar Khan invalid and reversing her coerced conversion to Islam.”

This is “a rare case where justice has been served in a religious conversion matter,” her attorney said — but one you and I should thank God for!

Keeping our persecuted brothers and sisters like Shahida in prayer is so important, as you know. I encourage you to pray for the needs of believers in Pakistan and other areas where it’s dangerous, even deadly, to follow Christ — and where they are oppressed and abused for their faith.

But I also believe you and I can go one step further:

By providing the tangible, practical love of Christ to those targeted daily for their faith.

Your generous gift today — of 50, 75, 150, or 250 dollars or more — will help provide shelter, spiritual comfort, and basic needs to believers in Pakistan and beyond who may be fearing for their lives, displaced, kidnapped, homeless, taken from their family and forced into a Muslim marriage, or in hiding because of increasing violence against Christians.

You’ll give hope to the hurting, strengthen individuals and families in search of peace and justice, and let them know you’re willing to share their burdens, as Jesus does.

Thank you! Your generosity and prayers make a difference in the lives of people like Shahida!

In His Service,

Mat Staver
