Share Love — Hope — Help!

With blasphemy charges and cases surging in Pakistan, there may be some hopeful news on the horizon for Christians in the hostile Asian nation.
“Is there a ‘blasphemy business group’ behind [the recent surge]?” asks Mission Network News. “On February 2, a high court in Pakistan advised that a commission ... investigate the question.”
Time will tell what the commission finds … and, as MNN reports:
“Religious freedom and human rights groups have been pushing against Pakistan’s blasphemy laws for years. Now it’s in the spotlight again. Pray for God to work justice through the commission’s investigations. Pray that it will move forward rapidly … [as] hundreds of people are trapped in court cases now.”
This is welcome news out of a country where believers suffer greatly at the hands of Muslims always looking to “catch” a Christian in the act of blasphemy.
Will you support LRI’s work today for the sake of all persecuted brothers and sisters who live daily under oppressors who wish them harm?
Through your compassion, our Christ-centered partners on the ground in this area of the world and many others will also offer support like:
Reconstruction of destroyed churches and homes.
Trauma counseling.
Literacy and job training.
Bibles, Bible study materials, and discipleship training for seekers and new believers.
Please give generously today to give hope to the hurting and keep those who face false legal accusations and wrongful imprisonment focused on Jesus — and the hope we have in Him — even in the darkest times.
In His service,
Mat Staver
