A New Resolution for a New Year

Dec 27, 2024

Offer them help, hope, and healing

The one thing persecuted believers in other countries ask for most often and consistently is prayer.

So I ask you:

Will you resolve to pray more often and more fervently in 2025 for Christians in nations where it’s dangerous to follow Jesus?

As James 5:16 says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”

In addition to asking for your prayers, I have one more simple request, from my heart to yours:

When God leads you to take another step on behalf of our brothers and sisters suffering hardships because of their faith, will you please also respond by making a generous donation to Liberty Relief International?

It is because of the compassionate generosity of friends like you that LRI’s partners can bring help, healing, and hope to Christians who need it.

Together we’re able to offer:

  1. Humanitarian aid — emergency food, water, medical care, and safe houses for people at risk of violence and hunger.
  2. Trauma counseling, literacy instruction, and job training for people starting over in life.
  3. Bibles, Bible study materials, and discipleship training.
  4. Restoration assistance to rebuild churches and homes destroyed by bombings, fire, or raids.

And much more.

If you’d like to pair your increased prayer support with a recurring or monthly giving commitment as well, you can do that easily and quickly on our website.

I am believing God will bless you with a happy and healthy New Year, and I thank you for supporting persecuted Christians in hostile areas one prayer — one gift — at a time.

In His Service,

Mat Staver
