This is a week to be especially grateful for God’s blessings.

A woman named Mercy, from Nigeria, is also grateful to you.

Mercy has a deeply painful story to tell — her mother was killed by Fulani militants … her father was dragged away … her sister, 9 months pregnant, was murdered — and Mercy has been living in a displacement camp for four years now ...

And according to Open Doors, it’s a place where food and water are scarce.

But thanks to the generosity of friends like you, Mercy is given food and care and support. And she’s got a message just for you:

“I can’t even thank you enough — may God keep you all and may your days be long,” she says. “I thank my brothers and sisters that have brought us this great help. I thank you all. God should strengthen your hearts to help those that can’t help themselves. And God should bless whatever your hands do; let it be good.”

Your prayers and financial support minister hope to the hurting — both near and far. Persecuted believers like Mercy would feel forgotten and alone if it weren’t for your generosity.
