I received an update from a friend recently about local, on-the-ground, Gospel-centered ministry happening in the Middle East, and I knew the two reports here would bring you great joy as well: 

• First: One former mullah — an Islamic religious leader or scholar — who now preaches about the Lord has turned into a dedicated distributor of Bibles among seekers and converts from Islam!

• Second: 20 believers who were once Muslim were recently baptized at a conference!

The Middle East is a hostile and dangerous place for Christians, as you well know ...

But God is moving, and people are finding truth and hope through your prayers and giving!

Since fellow believers in many countries cannot rely on the government to stand in the gap for them when they’re in physical, emotional, or spiritual need, LRI depends on God’s grace and your generosity to help the oppressed.
