While The World Moves On, Hurricane Survivors Still Need Relief

Rush Emergency Relief TODAY

CBS News recently reported on a family who moved to North Carolina, near Asheville, “when they retired two years ago, in large part to get away from the threat of hurricanes.”

Cairo, the couple’s daughter, told the news outlet:

“My mom is comparing it to Hurricane Andrew. She lived in Miami during Andrew. For me, it’s hard. The whole world moves on, but you’re stuck in a bubble. Everyone’s searching for food and water, in survival mode. ... My parents may not have running water for at least three months. In a way, I wish I’d stayed in Florida, where the infrastructure is built for this kind of weather. Here in Asheville, it’s not. One windstorm, one flood, and everything can be wiped out.

The path of destruction Hurricanes Helene and Milton left is unimaginable.

This is why I hope you’ll give generously today to keep our on-the-ground partners providing tangible help and hope in the worst-hit areas.

Liberty Relief International works with reputable Christian organizations dedicated to offering both spiritual support and physical relief to meet the needs of those who are directly affected by these devastating storms.

Thank you for your compassion. And thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ from where you are through your prayers and generosity!

In His service,

Mat Staver
