Rush Aid to the Hurting Today

I wrote you earlier this week about the plight of our Sudanese brothers and sisters in Christ ...
... how the violent unrest is wreaking havoc in the lives of thousands upon thousands, day after day.
Reading through a Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB in Full) post today, it describes the danger to women and girls specifically in Sudan:
“The war in Sudan began in April 2023 and has been described as a conflict fought on the bodies of women and girls. A total absence of protection for women and girls heightens the risk of sexual and gender-based violence. Distressing reports have emerged of rape, gang rape, and forced ‘marriages’, with many of these violations occurring in people’s homes.”
Human rights violations happen constantly at the whim of extremists. Girls and women — and their families — are paying a tragically heavy price … it’s worse if you are a Christian and Islamists found out about your faith.
Given the years-long heartache, threat, and violence the Sudanese have been enduring, I urge you to give generously to Liberty Relief International immediately.
Our Christ-centered partners in the region — and in other areas where Christians and others are being attacked — will offer trauma counseling, Bibles, discipleship training, faith-based materials, and more.
Please consider how generous you can be today for the sake of those who need hope.
And please pray that people in Sudan will experience God’s very real presence despite the hostility that surrounds them.
Thank you for your compassion!
In His service,
Mat Staver
