Please don’t let reports about the genocide of Christians in Africa become “more bad news” soon to be forgotten.
Violent attacks on children, families, and entire communities in Nigeria, Uganda, and beyond are happening weekly.
Every moment of every jihadist assault is tragic. Every victim of every murderous spree is precious to God.
In Nigeria, “Fifty million Christians have further been ‘forced out of their ancestral homes and lands into displacement and homelessness,’” Gatestone Institute reports.
“All I can say is that war has been declared on Christians in Mangu [Plateau State, Nigeria]. The terrorists are just attacking and killing Christians in most of the communities around Mangu ... Christians here really need help.”
—Markus Artu, a member of the Mangu Local Government Council
Today, I ask you:
Will you stand with vulnerable Christians targeted for their faith?
Will you pray for the safety of Christian communities and families in dangerous places — both within Nigeria and without — that God will intervene?
Please be there for the persecuted.
You and I can be — should be — a lifeline to the suffering as Christ commands.
Thank you for your partnership, your prayers, and your generosity toward the global body of Christ.
In His service,
Mat Staver
