"Pray That I Have Courage"

Stand with Those who Stand Firm in the Faith

“Mob violence has claimed another life in Pakistan,” reports Mission Network News.

“74-year-old Nazir Masih, a Pakistani Christian, was attacked on May 25 [after being] accused of burning pages from the Koran. The radical Muslim mob beat him unconscious. … Masih passed away from his injuries.”

What a tragic unfolding of what Islamists view as “justice” in a nation known for mob violence against believers.

“We need to pray that truth is revealed,” says Greg Kelley of the group Unknown Nations. “We need to pray that these Christian leaders would have boldness and they would have courage. If they were here, that’s what they would be asking for. They would say, ‘Pray that I have boldness. Pray that I have courage.’”

Your prayers and support mean a great deal to brothers and sisters oppressed, beaten, imprisoned, and worse for their faith.

I urge you: Reach out with compassion today through Liberty Relief International.

Opposition to believers is increasing worldwide. Regions that are predominantly Muslim are especially dangerous — and deadly — for Christians.

Their daily reality is a reminder of what it can cost to follow Jesus. Please stand with them today.

  • LRI’s partner teams in hotspots worldwide are doing everything they can to provide urgently needed humanitarian aid like emergency food, water, and safe houses.

  • They also offer trauma counseling, literacy training, and job training for Christians starting over in new or foreign communities.

  • In addition, our on-the-scene partners provide spiritual support like Bibles, Bible study materials, and discipleship training for new and growing believers.

Your generous gift — of 50, 100, 250 dollars, or more — will meet the tangible needs of persecuted and oppressed individuals and their families, in Christ’s name.

Thank you for supporting believers who are targeted, harassed, and attacked in one form or another. God bless you for sharing the burden they carry daily.

In His service,

Mat Staver
