Suffering is a way of life for so many …
But we have a Heavenly Father who sees each one.
And He’s called you and me to be His hands and feet — to reach out with compassion — to support the stranger, the orphan, the widow — to be a caring, tangible expression of His love in this world.
You shine light in the darkness for believers in nations where keeping their faith a secret is a necessity — and often the difference between life and death.
You give food, water, and shelter to those who have nothing left after natural disasters have destroyed homes and livelihoods.
You give comfort and encouragement to those who are being driven from their homes and towns — many of whom end up homeless and without life’s necessities.
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people” (Gal. 6:10).
Thank you for seeing the suffering, caring about the victims, and being willing to act on their behalf. This is Christ’s way, and He knows His followers.
