Nigerian Christians Suffer Massive Islamist Violence on Christmas Eve

Bless the Persecuted in their Suffering

I know much attention has been on the war in Israel and its impact on our beloved Jewish brothers and sisters ...

But that doesn’t mean we haven’t seen what’s been happening in other parts of the world to our Christian family members.

On Christmas Eve, across some 21 Christian villages in Nigeria, almost 200 people were murdered in sudden brutal attacks by radical Islamists — Fulani militants being the suspected assailants.

According to International Christian Concern, tens of thousands were affected and displaced during the attacks “that lasted more than seven hours.”

Dead bodies and burned homes and churches were found in the wake of the barbaric, coordinated violence — families and neighbors have been reeling ever since.

My heart is heavy with such news.

So today, I ask you:

Will you stand with vulnerable Christians targeted for their faith?

Will you give generously to minister to our brothers and sisters who face the unthinkable on any given day?

Will you pray for the safety of Christian communities and families in dangerous places — both within Nigeria and without — that God will intervene?

Please simply be there for the persecuted.

Liberty Relief International works with Christ-centered partners in dozens of nations to provide emergency aid to targeted Christians and their communities.

You and I can be — should be — a lifeline to the suffering as Christ commands.

Your tax-deductible donation right now will offer believers in the most dangerous places emotional and spiritual support — as well as emergency physical relief to help get them through another day.

Thank you for your partnership, your prayers, and your generosity toward the global body of Christ.
