Stand with Survivors of Violent Persecution![]()

Please, God, comfort suffering Christians in Nigeria.
These are the only words that come to mind after reading a recent report from International Christian Concern:
“The Fulani militants who killed 42 Christians during a night attack [last month] in north central Nigeria continued their killing spree despite a curfew imposed by the government. Witnesses [say] that at least 100 Christians were killed [mid-May] in 16 villages. …
“One survivor who fled with other villagers watched as the militants killed her husband, father-in-law, four siblings, and burned her home. ‘We did nothing to them, but the Fulani killed us because of our faith,’ she said.”
Violent, murderous attacks on Christian communities in Nigeria are intensifying.
Many bodies in multiple villages are strewn near farms and homes and along the road.
Terror and grief continue to grip thousands upon thousands of families year after year.
With 13 Christians killed on average every day in Nigeria, we must come to their aid in the name of Jesus.
You will enable LRI’s local partners — who minister to families and communities ravaged by violence — to offer trauma counseling and emotional support.
Your generosity also provides for the distribution of Bibles, discipleship materials, and spiritual resources to those in need.
I cannot thank you enough for what you mean to the persecuted church worldwide.
Nigeria is one of the most hostile places on earth for Christians … and yet dozens of countries around the globe are dangerous for our brothers and sisters every single day.
I am grateful you stand with them — and for them.
