Rush Physical and Spiritual Support to the Persecuted!![]()

Sudan is a tinderbox right now.
As reports about civil unrest continue to increase, the facts pouring out of the East African nation over the last several days include the following:
According to The Guardian: “Clashes between Sudan’s military and the country’s main paramilitary force” erupted amid mounting tensions.
U.S. News & World Report says: “The World Health Organization said [last] Friday that 413 people had been killed and 3,551 injured in Sudan since [recent] intense fighting broke out there.”
The Associated Press reports: “With the final embassy employee out of Khartoum, the United States shuttered its diplomatic mission indefinitely.”
The yearslong infighting and violence — along with these most recent events — are a heartbreaking reminder of what our Sudanese brothers and sisters in Christ are suffering right now, especially near the capital city, Khartoum.
As Open Doors says about Sudan, which sits at the No. 10 spot on its 2023 World Watch List: “Christians are … vulnerable to extreme persecution in public and private life, particularly if they have converted from Islam.”
While extremists attack and believers are targeted and killed, please keep Sudan in your prayers … and give generously to meet the needs of the most vulnerable through Liberty Relief International.
Millions of Christians have been displaced … churches have been demolished … and too many families have been torn apart by violence and religious intolerance.
Our on-the-ground partners — in Sudan and elsewhere — offer trauma counseling, literacy and job training, assistance in rebuilding churches and homes that have been attacked or destroyed … plus Bibles, discipleship training and materials, and more.
Thank you for caring … thank you for standing with the persecuted and suffering!
