Emergency Relief to Hurricane-Devastated Florida

I don’t know her name.

But I do see her pain …

When one of our partners was delivering hot, high-quality, nourishing meals to hurricane survivors in one Florida neighborhood, he came across a woman who was “outside sorting through her grandmother’s things” right before a collection truck came and took the pile.

“We watched helplessly as the truck scooped their life away.”

The woman could do nothing but stand there and sob.

But the compassionate man—committed to feeding both her body AND soul—took the opportunity to hug her, pray with her and comfort her.

Yes, people need food, water, clothing and other necessities in the wake of Hurricane Ian’s wrath …

But they also need spiritual and emotional encouragement to help them cope with the loss, devastation and rubble in which they are immersed.

So many have lost so much. If you have seen the news feeds, you can imagine how overwhelming it must feel for people in the hardest-hit communities.

Liberty Relief International is providing support through our Christ-centered partners on the ground in Southwest Florida.

Our twin goals are to (1) deliver tangible humanitarian relief and (2) provide much-needed Christian love and comfort in this trying time.

Our partners—serving as meal providers, emergency aid distributors and shoulders to cry on—are working day and night to minister to survivors and be the hands and feet of Jesus to the victims of this historic storm.
