Strengthen Hurricane Victims in Jesus' Name

One of LRI’s partners in our Southwest Florida disaster relief effort is giving help and hope to survivors and has provided an update you do not want to miss …  

While we have been delivering thousands of meals to hospitals and populated neighborhoods over the last few weeks, there are times when we are called to find “the one.” Even though Fort Myers Beach looked like a ghost town, our team drove down every single street, looking for anyone who might be in need of a hot meal. They had to swerve around power lines, drive through sand and dirt, and even go on foot through streets that were impassable. 

Two residents … were standing near the rubble that was once their home. After hearing their stories, they discovered that the woman has been a [donor to our organization] for years. She has been donating for a long time, and now she has been able to receive our love personally!

What a beautiful testimony of the power of generosity and love for others!
