“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial.”
—James 1:12a![]()

“A Christian father and son were killed by suspected Islamic State militants in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula,” World Watch Monitor reports.
“The two Copts, Salama Moussa Waheeb and his son Hany, were shot dead while working in the fields in Gelbana … ”
This tragedy grieves my heart.
Christians in Egypt suffer persecution of all kinds, “from Christian women being harassed on the street, to Christian communities being driven out of their homes by extremist mobs,” Open Doors says.
Will you please let struggling Christian families like this one—who have lost loved ones at the hands of Islamic terrorists—know you stand with them?
You will also make it possible for our Christ-centered partners on the ground to deliver food, water and emergency aid to those who need it most.
You’ll send Bibles, discipleship resources and more to strengthen them in their faith.
You’ll meet needs like literacy training, education and medical attention.
As you pray for this family … please remember to lift up families in other nations where being a Christian comes at a high cost.
Thank you. You are making a life-changing difference for people targeted for their religious beliefs.
Your generosity and prayers are essential. Thank you and God bless you!
