Have you ever doubted God’s power and presence in your life or ministry?
That’s why God commanded Israel to consciously remember all He had done for them, even when they trudged through the dryness of the desert for 40 years anticipating entering the land God had promised them.
In Joshua 4, God commanded the Israelites to reflect on His faithfulness with stones of remembrance when God miraculously dried up the Jordan River so the people could safely cross. The 12 stones they took from the middle of the Jordan became a memorial they could use to teach future generations what God had done.
In the present day, like the Israelites of old, we want to consciously remember what our God has done for us. Beyond that, we want to actively share God's blessings with the people around us.
Our God is good, and we will exalt His name forever!
