Reach Out to the Vulnerable in Ukraine

What does on-site ministry in Ukraine by LRI’s partners look like?

One team member explains:

We keep working and responding to the needs in areas nearby, but we were also able to reach out to places that are right now under fire and occupation. They are going through the same thing Kyiv region went through a little less than a month ago — [the] Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhya regions. We … set up small humanitarian aid centers there. Each week part of our team goes to this location and joins the teams we partner with on the ground to bring aid close to the front lines.

You are delivering food, water and supplies …

You are also providing large backpacks for refugee children filled with aid, food and faith-based materials. In fact, every $30 you give puts backpacks into six children’s hands!

Further, you are offering spiritual and emotional support to the terrified, lonely and isolated.

Galatians 6:2 puts it this way: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
