There’s a woman living in Central Asia who desperately needs hope.
Diliana*—wife and mother of four—came to Christ recently after hearing the gospel message. Her family is very poor, and her husband is often away for work.
After she became a Christian, Liberty Relief International’s partners ministered to her in many ways … providing food, giving spiritual help and more.
But when Diliana’s husband found a Bible and discipleship materials in their home, he was overwhelmed with anger. He ripped them up and threw the mangled pages away.
Then he became physically abusive. Diliana endured his beatings and is stopping her from seeking medical treatment for her wounds.
And more recently, he has begun drinking, which fuels his rage toward her.
Diliana’s situation often feels hopeless ...
But the love and compassion of someone like you can intervene.
Diliana faces many unknowns. Life for our brothers and sisters suffering persecution in hostile nations is terrifying and dangerous. They cannot rely on family or government to stand in the gap for them—only God’s grace and your generosity can do that.
Please join me in praying that God will give Diliana the peace, safety and strength she needs.
And please follow that prayer by giving generously today.
Thank you for standing with LRI for those who are persecuted, suffering and alone.
