Not everyone has your compassionate heart.
Not everyone shares your empathy for—and your willingness to act on behalf of—our suffering brothers and sisters.
As religious persecution continues to increase in dozens of nations in dozens of ways, I wanted to take a moment to share what’s going on around the world for our fellow Christians. It’s especially important for you to know this because you are uniquely situated to bring relief to those suffering incredible torment for their faith.
According to Open Doors:
In highly oppressive countries like Afghanistan (#2 on the 2021 World Watch List), converts to Christianity face two horrific options: “flee the country or risk being killed.”
In Libya (#4), “there’s no freedom of speech, no freedom of religion and very limited possibility of public church life.”
Militants “often murder Christians or destroy their property and means of livelihood” in Nigeria (#9).
It is no exaggeration to say that a Christian holocaust is taking place worldwide, and we must do what we can to bring Christ’s compassion to those suffering through it.
You will provide emergency food, water, shelter and safety to believers in need of immediate support amid unrest and violence.
You and I are blessed to be a blessing.
Let’s make an impact in the lives of persecuted Christians today!
Thank you for responding from a heart of compassion as the Lord leads.
