"I Thank God Every Day for Using You to Save My Life"

Provide the Answer to Their Prayers!

Charlotte* is thanking God for you.

She’s only 13, but the last year of her life has been extremely traumatic.

Charlotte, who lives in the Central African Republic, came to faith in Christ as a 12-year-old—she heard about Jesus through her uncle. But when her father found out she’d left Islam:

  1. He threatened to kill her ...
  2. And when those threats didn’t change her mind (or her heart), he made plans to marry her off to a 45-year-old influential Muslim businessman.

Charlotte’s church advised she leave town for her safety, so she went to live with an aunt.

And thanks to your support for LRI’s local partners in her area, they were given some financial assistance to help in Charlotte’s relocation and continued education.

In addition, Charlotte’s aunt was able to start a small business to help her meet their needs. She set up a shop to sell items like cassava flour, onions, groundnuts, palm oil and more. The proceeds have been very helpful, and Charlotte says:

“Aunty uses some of the profit to buy food, clothes and shoes, and also gives me some for Sunday offerings in church. I thank God every day for using you to save my life. I can never forget that, and I pray every day that God will bless you.”

Your generosity at work ... your love in action for persecuted believers who need compassion!

And your gift again today means local ministry partners in many places in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and elsewhere can provide physical and emotional support where it’s most needed.

Your generous donation—of 25, 50, 100, 500 dollars or more—will give encouragement to individuals and families suffering loss, unemployment, persecution for their faith and more.

  1. You’ll offer aid like trauma counseling, literacy and job training.
  2. You will provide Bibles, discipleship materials and more to keep believers grounded in God’s Word.
  3. And you will make sure LRI partners keep connecting with Christians like Charlotte who have nowhere else to turn.

Charlotte holds on to 1 Cor. 1:4, “I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.”

Thank you, as always, for standing with the persecuted—the homeless—the suffering—the ones searching for hope.

You are truly an answer to their prayers!
