What should Hindus in India do when they encounter a Christian convert?
“Behead them—those who come for conversion,” instructs Hindu religious leader Parmatmanand at a recent rally in the Central Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
“I am telling you; anyone who comes into your house, street, neighborhood, village, don’t forgive them … Tell those Christians who went away [converted], why did you leave the ocean for the well? I want you to talk to them politely first. Stop them, protest and shoot them.”
Opposition to Christianity isn’t increasing in just one state—it’s growing throughout India.
In fact, I’m seeing reports that attacks and false allegations against Christians are running rampant in several regions of India.
While the “hotspots” for Christian persecution may vary in the headlines from month to month, the reality for our brothers and sisters is a daily reminder of what it costs to follow Jesus.
Persecuted believers in India, the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere carry an unbelievably heavy burden. They’re searching for help and hope amid despair.
Will you be a light today? Will you reflect Christ’s Light for them when all seems dark?

We need your generous help to meet the tangible needs of the persecuted and the oppressed, in Christ’s name.
Life as a persecuted Christian overseas is far from easy.
Thank you for supporting those who are targeted, harassed, harmed … and often carry the burden alone.
