As a friend of LRI, you know how prevalent, how violent, Nigerian militants are--how forcefully they attack and invade Christian villages, churches and schools.

Tragically, International Christian Concern reports this breaking news:

"In the early hours of July 5, 2021, gunmen invaded Bethel Baptist High School, Damishi, in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Nigeria, and kidnapped 153 students. ... As of July 6, 2021, 28 of the students were recovered, while 125 are still missing."

Christians in Nigeria carry a dreadfully heavy burden.

Threats of kidnapping, attacks, displacement, sexual violence and murder are a daily reality for our brothers and sisters in this West African nation--and their families and communities.

While the persecuted around Nigeria and elsewhere continue to trust in their Heavenly Father for strength and safety, I continue to trust that compassionate friends like you will keep supporting them in faithful prayer and tangible relief.
