Let Them Know You Care

Morning Star News reported this difficult news in March:

"A mosque leader sent men to rape three female relatives of a church pastor in western Uganda because the imam's wife put her faith in Christ....

"The Feb. 16 rapes...of the pastor's relatives, ages 19, 17 and 16, came two days after imam Caled Bwambale Hussein of Kasese municipality learned of the conversion of his wife."

This is not some form of Old Testament "eye for an eye" compensation—it is sickening, shameful vengeance that should be internationally condemned.

And yet believers in hostile countries suffer this kind of ruthlessness all the time. They are:

• Targeted for discrimination...
• Spied on and threatened...
• Banished from their homes...
• Wrongfully imprisoned and tortured for choosing Christ...
• Kidnapped, raped, beaten...
• Punished and abused by their loved ones.

Some pay the highest price for their faith—with their very lives.
