Child Victims of Christian Persecution Suffer, Too

Dec 3, 2020

Persecution comes in many forms, as you know.

When it impacts young children, it's even more heartbreaking to contemplate...
  • In some Egyptian schools, Christian kids experience bullying from students and teachers and can be forced to sit at the very back of their classrooms.
  • North Korean children are persuaded to betray their Christian parents.
  • Children from Christian families living in secret in the Middle East can easily become confused and conflicted — as they're taught Islam at school and Christianity at home.
  • In Colombia, the children of pastors are often intentionally targeted and recruited by terrorist groups.
  • In certain parts of China, youth under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend church.
  • When villages in Africa are raided by radical Islamists — parents slaughtered, homes burned, etc. — surviving children are either kidnapped or left to fend for themselves.
  • An attack in Nigeria — most likely carried out by the notoriously evil Boko Haram — "claimed the lives of 110 farmers who were working in their fields on November 28," International Christian Concern reports. It's believed to be "the largest and deadliest [assault] by the group in all of 2020, especially against civilians."

What happens to the children of those murdered farmers? And what happens to the orphans who lost both parents in this merciless tragedy?

It is for the children ... the widows ... the struggling family members ... the orphans that I write you today and ask you, humbly yet boldly, to give an online gift to Liberty Relief International.

Our Christ-centered partners in nations around the globe tangibly represent the love and compassion of our Savior...

Please provide help and hope in their time of need.

Your compassion does not go unnoticed — by LRI ... by hurting brothers and sisters in Christ ... or by the Lord!

God bless you.
