Help for Christians in the Crossfire

Turkish airstrikes and raids along the Turkey-Iraq border that are allegedly meant to target terrorists are forcing Iraqi Christians in great numbers to flee their homes, says International Christian Concern.

News sources say it is estimated that 25 Christian villages or more have been cleared out this year alone as military operations have intensified in the war-weary nation’s northern region.

Iraqi believers in these communities just want to live peacefully ... but find themselves repeatedly surrounded by intense conflict.

Homes, crops and cemeteries have been destroyed by incendiary fires ... families have had to evacuate ... churches have shut down ... people have been killed.

In a nation where the Christian population is still recovering from the violence and terror of the ISIS caliphate, more military tensions and massive disruptions mean more heartache and violence for our brothers and sisters.

They need hope...

They need you.

As you stand with Liberty Relief International today and give generously to meet the burgeoning needs of Christians in Iraq and elsewhere — places where it’s often deadly to follow Jesus — you’ll provide physical and spiritual assistance in His name.

You can be part of:

  1. Rebuilding homes and churches
  2. Offering humanitarian aid like food, water, medical care and shelter
  3. Trauma counseling and recovery
  4. Encouraging those who feel isolated and at risk
  5. Distributing Bibles and discipleship materials
  6. And more!

It would mean so much to Christians in Iraq and beyond if you’d open your heart and your hand to them today ... including brothers and sisters in Pakistan, Syria, Eritrea, Nigeria and elsewhere — people all over the world in need of hope after everything they know has been taken from them.

“Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart,” says Deuteronomy 15:10-11, “then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your ... poor and needy...”

Thank you in advance. Your compassion and generosity do not go unnoticed.

Yours in Christ,

Mathew D. Staver
Founder and Chairman
