32,000 Christians Butchered

Send Emergency Aid to the Persecuted

An insightful yet sobering piece from the Gatestone Institute says some 32,000 Christians have been butchered to death by Nigerian jihadists — mainly militant Fulani Herdsmen and the Boko Haram terrorist group — since 2009.

Classified as “infidels” by radical Islamists, Christian communities in Nigeria have been strategically targeted, attacked, raided and destroyed as community members are viciously beaten, tortured and killed.

Through mid-May of this year alone, Muslim terrorists have massacred at least 620 Christians.

And yet, according to one human rights group, no Fulani members to date have been arrested or prosecuted ... which only emboldens their violence.

The Gatestone article goes on to say that elsewhere in the world:

  • Islamic State (ISIS) fighters continue murdering Christians in the Democratic Republic of Congo...
  • Violent Muslims recently ransacked and transformed a Christian church in Greece into their personal toilet...
  • Christian places of worship have been destroyed in Egypt...
  • Islamic terrorists attacked a monastery in Mozambique...

On and on the brutality goes. These examples are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the appalling violence leveled against the persecuted Church around the world.

As Jesus says in John 15:18-25:

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first...
If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me...
But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.'"
