While imprisoned for being a Christian, her only access to Scripture was the tiny scraps of paper smuggled to her by friends. She'd quickly memorize each verse before destroying the scrap to avoid detection. She recites entire Psalms from memory, saying with a smile, "They can't take what's hidden in your heart."
